2009 Shoot Out
Next Generation Bird HunterAbout 30 men, women and children turned out for the 2nd Northern Lights Chapter CSF Shoot Out at Buck Heide's Game Haven near Wolverine, Michigan.
Food, drink, competition and fellowship were in overdrive as everyone had a great time. In the words of Pastor Bob Moody, "The object of this outing is fun, but putting safety first. In other words, let's put a lot of lead down range, but leave no blood trails."
Three trap stations were set up along with a .22 caliber small arms bench and horseshoe pit. At times, every station was in use. Experienced gunners 
22 Rimfire Marksmenwere on hand to assist and instruct beginners. EVERYONE had fun.
After the dust had settled, winners were declared and trophies presented:
Texas Golf--Lucas Prevo and Josiah Crawford
Jr. Rimfire--Josiah Crawford
Sr. Rimfire--Daniel Crawford
Jr. Trap--Christopher Grim
Sr. Trap--Andrew Ashenfelter
Handgun--David Moody
